The overarching goal of the Institute is the social, political and legal equality between people with and without migration backgrounds, women and men.

(Vocational) education and integration of socially disadvantaged people, especially immigrants, is our self-selected carrier specific order.

The Institute thus has two alignments: Beneath our educational mission we also take care of educational tasks in the political structures of our federal state.

Our education and integration services are used primarily to achieve equal opportunities for persons who are at a distinct disadvantage in the labor market, which is expressed in much poorer chances to find a suitable training or employment. The reasons lie not only in the social situation of individuals, but justified especially in structural discrimination.
