Office Administrators

Initial Training for Office Administrators ("BP")

Especially for the target group of young female immigrants and women who did not succeed in finding a vocational training position our institute offers a project comprising a three-year vocational training for office administrators.  On the vocational training market, young femal immigrants have particularily small chances.  In many cases the access to recognized voca-tional fields is barred for them.  We try to counteract this "job discrimination" regarding young femal immigrants.  This projects is executed in collaboration with and funded by the Social Welfare Department of the City of Mainz, the Employment Office in Mainz, and the Government of Rhineland-Palatinate.

This concept extends the so-called "dual system" scheme of vocational training, in which trainees attend the vocational school and work with the company offering the apprenticeship, by our institute as the third training location.  The co-operating company (the company offer-ing the apprenticeship) and the master company (INBI) share tasks and cost.

For offering an internship abroad in the line with this vocational training project, INBI was awarded the "Good Practice" by the National Agency of Education for Europe (BiBB) in the course of the "Leonardo daVinci-programme" in spring 2008.
