TAKE IT!
TAKE IT - a project in the context of the XENOS-Program
In context of the TAKE IT project we cooperate with young people, who have already finished their vocational training or are due to finish it shortly. They are able to support other young people in getting ready to start vocational training in terms of their professional qualifications and their social skills. The ultimate ambition of the project is to land an apprenticeship.
Furthermore, it is the aim of the project to strengthen the individual awareness of democracy and the cross-cultural competence of the participants. This objective is intended to contribute a paradigm change in society to the perception of the competences and engagements of people from a different cultural background. In addition it is the goal of the project to overcome racist values and promote liberal cooperation.

Dieses Vorhaben wird aus Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Arbeit und Soziales und aus dem Europäischen Sozialfonds der Europäischen Union gefördert.
Weitere Förderer sind das MSAGD, das MWKEL, der Landkreis Mainz-Bingen sowie der Beauftragte der Landesregierung für Migration und Integration.
Als Teil des XENOS-Programms unterstützt TAKE IT! die "Vielfalt-Mediathek".
Hier können Bildungsmaterialien für Toleranz, Demokratie und Vielfalt, gegen Rechtsextremismus, Rassismus und Antisemitismus gesucht und ausgeliehen werden.
